Put yourself in the best light

The pitch isn’t just about the project: it’s about you and the buyer establishing a relationship.  Are you a credible producer?  Are you someone they want to work with?  These are the unspoken questions the buyer is considering. You need to be able to pitch yourself as well: just a précis of what you’ve done and what your company has done.  Being prepared to present this information in a succinct and dynamic way allows you to put yourself in the best possible light.

Is there one perfect pitch?  No.  A pitch is strong when it gives buyers the information they need, and that information will differ every time.  Be informed, be prepared, remember the mutually dependent food chain and have a conversation.

just joined. It is a great place to learn after Film School, after the first few films. To build up courage, to be aticulated about...and not to feel all alone in the planet.
Thanks.
